ADD APT UV-Link VVA 30 Acrylic copolymer ADD APT Acrylic Resins Coatings >> UV / Radiation Curing Wood & Furniture Coatings UV-Link VVA 30 is a low viscosity UV-curable emulsion, designed for industrially applied Interior/Exterior Wood Stains, Gloss Paints and High Quality Wood Finishes. It is a copolymer of Acrylic Monomers and VeoVa, containing an UV-curable additive. High Quality Exterior Wood Finishes High Quality Interior/Exterior Wood Finish The emulsion is stable to the addition of pigments and coalescing solvents and may be made more thixotropic by the incorporation of a suitable gelling agent. The polymer has elastomeric properties and excellent resistance to water and alkalis. Due to its crosslinking ability under UV/daylight, it shows excellent blocking resistance and will avoid dirt pick-up. It has very fast drying characteristics and shows little or no raising of the grain. It forms films that are clear, bright and glossy at room temperature with no need for coalescing agents. It reacts readily with all rheology modifiers (i.e. ADD APT â AS-grades), especially with associative systems (i.e. ADD APT â PRM 25) where a lower level is required to achieve a suitable rheology profile ! Uncured pigmented films are tough and durable. UV/daylight cured pigmented films are very water resistant, with build in flexibility at the polymer/wood interface and even higher toughness at the surface.
