The primary application for Akcrostab ABC-2 are plastisol knife and reverse roll coated foam for fabric or flooring. They can also be used in the manufacture of closed mold expanded and foam shapes, calendered foam coated fabric or extruded blown shapes and profiles. Suggested usage level is 2.0 – 3.0 phr. Akcrostab ABC-2 can also be used as activators in other polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS or polystyrene. The best quality foam is produced when the fusion temperature of the plastisol is matched with the decomposition temperature of the blowing agent.
