Butyl thiotins are excellent general-purpose products for a wide range of rigid and flexible PVC applications. They contribute high levels of thermal stability in all types of PVC polymers, and maximum clarity when required. Tinstab BTS51 Is a low volatility butyl thiotin stabiliser, offering a good early colour and excellent transparency. The main application for BTS51 is plastisol floor covering and wall coverings but the thermal stability offered by BTS51 together with a low level of self lubrication enable the product to be used in general purpose calendering. Injection moulding and extrusion. Application includes flooring, wallcovering, coilcoating and fuidised bed coating.
