SI 201-150 Polyamide resin Arizona Chemical Polyamide (PA) Inks >> Solvent-based INKS >> Digital inks (eg. Ink jet) Soluble in aliphatic alcohol Insoluble in mineral spirits SI 201-150 DIGITAL INK RESIN is a low molecular weight thermoplastic polyamide resin suitable for formulating low-volatility solvent jet inks. When dissolved in selected solvent blends it yields solutions with low viscosity and good storage stability. These solutions, when printed on substrates such as vinyl, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene and Mylar have good dry rates and excellent adhesion. This class of resins are known to have excellent pigment wetting ability making this resin an outstanding candidate for formulation into jet inks for digital printing on porous and nonporous substrates. It possesses polyamide based chemistry, soluble in hydrocarbon/alcohol blends, amine and acid functional, compatabile with low flash point solvents, allows formulation of low viscosity, jettable solutions, adhesion to flexible films and porous substrate, proven chemistry for pigment dispersion and stabilization, It is used in solvent based DOD and CIJ digital inks. Low molecular weight polyamide resin. Used in low-voltality solvent jet inks. Provides low viscosity and good storage stability. Offers good dry rates and excellent adhesion. Possesses very good pigment wetting ability making this resin an outstanding candidate for formulation into jet inks for digital printing on porous and nonporous substrates.
