It possesses light color, high cloud point/low solubility, unsaturated binder, high softening point, yeilds clear non-yellowing films, provides very fast setting times, reacts quickly with cobalt and manganese drier packages to through dry into a tough, chemical resistant film, fast solvent release. It is used in oleo resinous overprint vehicles, co-resin for heatset or sheetfed varnishes. Maleic modified rosin ester. Possesses high softening point.
