UNI-REZ 2502 Polyamide resin Arizona Chemical Polyamide (PA) UNI-REZ® 2502 is a thermoplastic polyamide resin designed to impart a high degree of thixotropy to alkyd resins. Thixotropy is acheived by reacting UNI-REZ® 2502 with the alkyd resin at temperatures between 210-230°C. UNI-REZ® 2502 forms rigid gels with a slow recovery rates which leads to paints with excellent flow and levelling characteristics. It imparts a high degree of thixotropy, low to medium gel strength, rigid gel structure, excellent flow and levelling. It is used in medium and long oil alkyds, aliphatic and low aromatic solvents, high-gloss paints, anti-pigment settling. Thermoplastic polyamide resin. Used in high-gloss paints.
