Lacowax 34 V Ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer 24937-78-8 Ashland-Drew Industrial Ethylene co-terpolymers - solid (EVA, EMA) >> Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, EVA Inks INKS LACOWAX 34 V is an oxidized, low-molecular ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer. LACOWAX 34 V contains, apart from the vinylacetate groups, hydroxyl, acid and ester groups. This wax has a higher polarity than the oxidized polyethylene waxes and can be emulgated with a high solids content. LACOWAX 34 V is relatively soft and proves to be highly flexible and adhesive, with a low viscosity. The properties are very similar to those of softer natural waxes. It is used as aqueous emulsions for printing ink and lacquer industries: low-solvent and acqueous printing inks and lacquers, metallic lacquers/antisettling, leather processing: latex additive used for finishing, fulling, and smoothing of upper leather, plastics processing industry: dye and additive concentrates, hot-melt adhesive industry: special applications, care product industry. An oxidized, low-molecular ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer. Used in low-solvent and acqueous printing inks and lacquers, metallic lacquers. Possesses high polarity.
