It provides the following benefits when used in coating applications Pre-dispersed and hence easy to incorporate, exceptional rub, abrasion and scratch resistance, exceptional slip, solvent and heat resistance, good surface hardness, toughness and anti-blocking, similar in performance to CRAYVALLAC WN-3025. The low viscosity and high active content of this dispersion, together with freedom from dust, assist the efficiency of manufacturing processes. CRAYVALLAC WS-8200 provides the formulator with the means of controlling the frictional characteristics of a coating as well as enhancing its surface protection properties. It is used in the water-based and solvent-based applications such as inks, metal decorating, coil coatings, general industrial coatings, a matting agent – alone or in combination with silica, to retard the settlement and allow the re-dispersion of pigments.
