As a starting point, it is suggested that 0.5-2.0% of AP-2650 (wet-on-wet) can be added very slowly under good agitation. After addition, stir for 15-30 minutes in order to achieve a homogeneous blend, but avoid vigorous mixing with the possibility of entraining air. The amount of AP-2650 that is added will depend on the end use. For curtain coat applications, as much as 2% is recommended. For ease of incorporation into a water borne coating blend NeoCryl AP-2650 1:1 by weight or volume with water prior to using. Will Not Cause Cratering or Loss of Intercoat Adhesion Miscible With Water-borne and Solvent-borne Systems NeoCryl AP-2650 defoamer can be used in coating for any market where ease of incorporation and efficiency is desired.
