NeoCryl B-734 exhibits broad compatibility with aromatic solvent-solubilized short, medium, and long drying oil alkyds. In alkyd blends, it improves dry-time, surface hardness development, film clarity, and provides immediate gasoline, oil, and grease resistance in industrial enamel formulations. In Graphic Arts, it is formulated as flexo and gravure inks for cellophane with excellent wetting properties. These properties indicate the usefulness of NeoCryl B-734 in automotive refinishing, truck, bicycle, concrete sealers and farm equipment finishing, etc., where the coated article may be exposed to gasoline, grease, etc., prior to complete oxidation of the alkyds.
