PROXEL TN is a 55% aqueous solution of 1 , 2 -benzisothiazolin- 3-one and hexahydro-1,3,5-tris (2-hydroxyethyl)-s-triazine, a formaldehyde release agent. PROXEL TN is effective in a wide range of industrial aqueous-based products. The combination of two active agents provides a quick microbial kill with long term protection. In addition, the triazine gives enhanced head space protectionin the container. PROXEL ® TN is an aqueous solution of a synergistic blend of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one together with hexahydro-1,2,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl-s-triazine. It is an efficient preservative for aqueous compositions such as latex emulsions, paint, oil in water emulsions, adhesives, tape joint, pigment dispersions, and household products.
