Acronal Optive 230 gives excellent paint performance at 50 g/L VOC. Wet adhesion, low MFFT, low water sensitivity, excellent freeze/thaw stability, and titanium dioxide utilization make Acronal Optive 230 an excellent choice for many wood and masonry exterior paints. The excellent wet adhesion of Acronal Optive 230 allows you to make paint formulations for a wide range of surface types and applications. Acronal Optive 230 provides better hide than most comparable resins for flat paints, giving a potential for a reduction in the amount of TiO 2 used ; typically TiO 2 levels can be reduced by 5-15 lbs/100 gal.
