Laromer LR 8713 Epoxy acrylate BASF Acrylic Resins >> Epoxy Acrylic Coatings >> UV / Radiation Curing Wood & Furniture Coatings Other industry >> Paper coatings butyl acetate Soluble in all common paint solvents Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols Laromer LR 8713 is intended for the production of radiation-curable lacquers for wood, wood-based materials and paper. Low viscous unsaturated acrylic resin Reactive acrylic resin (epoxy acrylate), 85 % in butyl acetate. Laromer LR 8713 is comparable with most of the reactive acrylic resins, including other Laromer resins. Laromer LR 8713 is used as a sole binder or together with other radiation-curable resins for the production of lacquers that are cured by ultraviolet radiation or electron beams. By virtue of its hardness and resistance to chemicals, it is given preference for lacquers to be applied on wood and wood-based materials, particularly by curtain coating or the spray gun. Solution of a low viscous reactive unsaturated acrylic resin in butyl acetate. Used as a sole binder or in combination with other radiation-curable resins for production of radiation-curable lacquers for wood, wood-based materials and paper, particularly by curtain coating or spray gun. Offers hardness, resistance to chemicals and compatibility with most reactive acrylic resins.
