Laromer LR 8887 Trimethylolpropane methylal acrylate BASF Viscosity depressant Acrylic/Acrylate Resins Coatings >> UV / Radiation Curing Wood & Furniture Coatings Plastic coating Soluble in all common paint solvents Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons Monofunctional reactive thinner for use in the manufacture of flexible radiation-curing varnishes for wood, cork and plastics. Trimethylolpropane methylal acrylate Laromer LR 8887 is completely miscible with most reactive acrylic resins, including other Laromer grades. Laromer LR 8887 is a monofunctional reactive thinner used in the manufacture of UV- and EB-curing varnishes for wood, cork and plastics. Its elasticizing effect makes it suitable for coatings that are applied to flexible substrates. Laromer LR 8887 can also be used for parquet varnishes because of its good chemical resistance and high toughness. Cured coatings that contain Laromer LR 8887 have much lower odour levels compared with those containing other acrylic monomers. Trimethylolpropane methylal acrylate. Used as a monofunctional reactive thinner for manufacture of flexible UV- and EB-curing varnishes for wood, cork and plastics. Offers compatibility with most reactive acrylic resins, elasticizing effect, good chemical resistance and high toughness. Can be used for parquet varnishes.
