Laromer LR 8889 Amine-modified polyether acrylate BASF Acrylic Resins >> Polyether Acrylic Coatings >> UV / Radiation Curing Printing Inks & Varnishes Wood & Furniture Coatings Plastic coating Other industry >> Paper coatings Soluble in all common paint solvents Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons Amine-modified acrylic resin for making radiation-curing varnishes for paper, wood, wood products, plastics and printing inks. Low-viscosity liquid Laromer LR 8889 is completely miscible with most reactive acrylic resins, including other Laromer grades. Laromer LR 8889 is an amine-modified polyether acrylate. Because Laromer LR 8889 is highly reactive, it is often used in combina-tion with other radiation-curable resins to increase the overall reactivity of the formulation. Laromer LR 8889 can be used as a sole binder in the manufacture of highly reactive, low-viscosity coatings and printing inks. Coating films cured with Laromer LR 8889 are very resistant to chemicals and exhibit a good balance of hardness and flexibility. Low-viscosity, highly reactive, amine-modified polyether acrylate. Used for making radiation-curable varnishes for paper, wood, wood products, plastics and printing inks and in combination with other radiation-curable resins to increase reactivity. Gives complete miscibility with most reactive acrylic resins, very good resistance to chemicals and a good balance of hardness and flexibility.
