It is preferably applied by dipping or spraying. Formulations based on Laromer LR 9005 already give a tack-free film that withstands careful handling after physical drying. Curing with UV light or an electron beam gives a coating that is block-resistant, resistant to household chemicals and very scratch-resistant. Because of the excellent property profile of coatings based on Laromer LR 9005, they are particularly suitable for 3-dimensional objects with inaccessible areas that only receive a small dose of UV radiation during curing.
