It is wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings to improve pigment wetting, reduce the time required for the grinding process and stabilize the pigment dispersion. It creates controlled flocculation of the stabilized pigments and extenders. Preferably used in air drying and baking enamels to prevent flooding/floating and sedimentation. It can also be post-added for batch correction. In oxidative drying systems it effectively counteracts skin formation. Improvement of metal marking and scratch resistance can be acieved with 0.1 - 0.2% additive on total formulation. Solution of a phosphoric acid salt of long chain carboxylic acid polyamine amides.
