BYK®-012 is a mineral oil and silicone free defoamer for aqueous VOC-free systems. It is especially recommended for emulsion paints and emulsion plasters with a PVC range from 30 - 85 %. Due to its very good resistance against alkalines BYK®-012 shows excellent results and long term storage stability in silicate systems. BYK®-012 also performs well in aqueous air drying and baking industrial coatings, overprint varnishes and in the defoaming of polymer dispersions.
