Silicone defoamer for aqueous coatings, particularly useful in non-pigmented polyurethane and acrylate/polyurethane emulsion systems. The defoamer is very effective during the production and application of aqueous coatings; it does not influence gloss. BYK®-025 is very easy to incorporate which allows optimizing dosage by post addition while the paint is running on the curtain coater. The defoamer demonstrates excellent long term stability.
