Mineral oil defoamer for emulsion paints, industrial emulsions, exterior wall paints, emulsion plasters and emulsion adhesives to defoam during production and application. BYK®-033 can also be used as a defoamer during the production of emulsions. The defoamer is stable upon storage, resistant to yellowing from ultra-violet radiation and does not influence color acceptance and color development in tinted systems. BYK®-033 is silicone-free. This defoamer has a broad application field and covers the PVC range from 35 to 70%. Mixture of hydrophobic components in paraffin-based mineral oil. Used for emulsion paints, industrial emulsions, exterior wall paints and emulsion plasters. Offers resistance to yellowing from ultra-violet radiation.
