Silicone defoamer for solvent-based coating systems to prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. BYK®-066 N is highly efficient and offers optimum defoaming while utilizing only minimal quantities of incompatible substances. Preferred binders are: chlorinated rubber, epoxies, two-pack polyurethane systems, alkyd/melamine, alkyds, and self-crosslinking acrylates. Solution of foam destroying polysiloxane.
