It is used in emulsion paints/exterior wall paints, gloss/semi-gloss paints. BYK®-1615 is a mineraloil-free defoamer for emulsion paints. The defoamer is silicone based and recommended for highly filled emulsion systems in the PVC range from 60 % to 85 %. BYK®-1615 does not contain alkylphenolethoyxlates.
