BYK®-1770 is a new silicone defoamer and air release agent for aqueous systems, especially for joinery applications. When applying coatings in airless or airmix or high build systems a common problem is the creation of foam which can only be removed by specifically designed defoamers. Because of its unique chemistry BYK®-1770 does not only show excellent defoaming and air release properties but also preserves gloss and transparency, improves the slip and antiblocking and is solvent- and VOC-free.
