Highly effective silicone surface additive to provide good substrate wetting of critical substrates and good anti-crater performance by reduction of surface tension of the coatings. It also increases surface slip along with scratch resistance and anti-blocking. BYK®-306 improves dust and spray dust acceptance and allows higher film thickness on vertical surfaces. It reduces air draft sensitivity in wood and furniture coatings. BYK®-306 prevents formation of Bénard cells and improves flatting agent orientation.
