This unique combination of characteristics is achieved using a proprietary manufacturing process utilizing a patented organo-metallic propoxylation catalyst. Acclaim Polyol 12200 is a 12,000 molecular weight diol based on propylene oxide. The terminal end-groups are predominately secondary hydroxyls and have a relatively low reactivity with isocyanates. This polyol is acidified with a low level of phosphoric acid making it suitable for use in isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. Hydrolytic Stability Microbial Resistance Low Temperature Flexibility Ease of Handling Narrow MW Distribution Low Polyol Viscosity Low Prepolymer Viscosities Ultra-low Monol Level Dramatically Improved mechanical and Dynamic Properties in Polymer Systems Acclaim Polyol 12200 is an 12000 MW, ultra-low monol diol. It has utility in a wide variety of applications including coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, epoxy flexibilizers and defoamers. Acclaim Polyol 12200 has potential utility in various application areas including: Solvent and Waterbased Coatings, High Modulus Adhesives, Cast Elastomers, Thermal Break, Electrical Potting, RIM, Inks, Lubrication, Metalworking, Antistatic Agents, Crude Oil De-emulsification and Plasticizers.
