Also for pigment pastes. Alkydal F 49 TB is used as the sole binder or combined with other alkyd resins to formulate all types of air and force-drying industrial coatings. Its main characteristic is its rapid through-drying, allowing early installation/assembly. It has unusually good organic pigment wetting properties and is therefore recommended for use in the formulation of pigment pastes. It also yields good film properties - haze-free gloss, brilliance, body, flow and weather stability. Coatings based on Alkydal F 49 TB can be applied using conventional methods such as spraying, dipping and flow coating.
