Arcol Polyol PPG-425 Polypropylene glycol 25322-69-4 Bayer MaterialScience Polyurethane (PU) - Polyols >> Polyether Inks Coatings >> Solventborne Coatings >> Waterborne PPG-425 is a 425 molecular weight polypropylene glycol used in a broad range of ure-thane and other applications. This polyol is one of a series of propylene oxide adducts of diol starters. The material contains only secondary hydroxyl groups and thus has slow controlled reactivity. This polyol is compatible with some poly-ether polyols and can be blended with other diols or triols to achieve desirable modi-fications of product properties. PPG-425 has potential utility in various application areas including: Solvent and Waterbased Coatings, High Modulus Adhesives, Cast Elastomers, Thermal Break, Electrical Potting, RIM, Inks, Lubrication, Metalworking, Antistatic Agents, Crude Oil De-emulsification and Plasticizers. Propylene oxide adduct of diol starters. Used in solvent and waterbased coatings, and inks. Contains secondary hydroxyl groups. Offers slow controlled reactivity and compatibility with some polyether polyols. Can be blended with other diols or triols.
