Bayhydrol PR 240 polyurethane dispersion can be used as a binder for highly elastic, water-reducible primers and coatings applied to plastics and other flexible substrates. Air or force-dried coatings based on Bayhydrol PR 240 show fast dry, high elongation, good water resistance and early sandability. Flexible primers based on Bayhydrol PR 240 should be adjusted to a pH of about 8.0. Solvent-free anionic dispersion of an aliphatic polyurethane resin in water.
