Bayhydrol XP 2618 polyurethane dispersion is a coreactant for Bayhydur 303 polyisocyanate in two component waterborne polyurethane coatings where a lower VOC is needed. Coatings formulated from Bayhydrol XP 2618 and Bayhydur 303 possesses high gloss and good chemical and abrasion resistance. These coatings also have good film flexibility while maintaining a high degree of hardness. Bayhydrol XP 2618 polyurethane dispersion is suitable for topcoats for product finishing, wood furniture, chemical agent resistant coatings and maintenance applications. As with any product, use of Bayhydrol XP 2618 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
