Walsroder® Nitrocellulose is stabilised with alcohol E grades Form hard films; give off solvents even more rapidly than A grades; dilute readily in alcohols, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons; exhibit outstanding mechanical properties (cold check, elongation, hardness and tear resistance). Applications: coatings for films, paper and cardboard, automotive , metal, wood, special effect and glass coatings and flexographic and gravure printing inks. Nitrocellulose stabilised with alcohol. Used as a binder in inks and coatings. Forms hard films.
