It possesses a light color and a moderate room temperature viscosity. EPALLOY 7190 will react with all epoxy resin curing agents producing cured products with excellent chemical resistance and adhesive, electrical and mechanical properties. Typical curing agents include aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic and tertiary amines, polyamides, amidoamines, acid anhydrides, polysulfides and lewis acids. For applications which require a lower viscosity Bisphenol A based resin, EPALLOY 7190 is compatible with all ERISYS® reactive diluents. The addition of a diluent to 7190 will also alter the pot life and cured properties of the resin. It is used in high solids primers and coatings, chemical resistant pipe and tanks, chemical resistant coatings, electrical encapsulation, laminating, adhesives, tooling, molding and casting compounds.
