Epalloy 8250 Epoxy phenol novolac resin 28064-14-4 CVC Epoxy Resins >> Phenol & Cresol (Novolacs) Coatings >> Solvent-Free/ High-Solids EPALLOY ® 8250 Low Viscosity Epoxy Phenol Novolac Resin For an epoxidized phenol novolac with an average function-ality of 2.65, EPALLOY 8250 exhibits a very low room tem-perature viscosity. Close process control produces a resin significantly lower in viscosity than other commercially available epoxy novolacs of similar functionality. EPALLOY 8250 combines low hydrolyzable chlorides with good reac-tivity. It is non-crystallizing and compatible with all standard curatives and most epoxy resin systems and solvents. Be-cause of its low viscosity, EPALLOY 8250 is an excellent resin for formulating 100% solids coatings and trowelable flooring. Those formulations will cure at room temperature and provide chemical resistance to concentrated acids and aggressive solvents. Chemical Resistant Coatings Non-crystallizing, very low room temperature viscosity epoxy phenol novolac resin. Used for formulating 100% solids coatings and chemical resistant coatings. Provides very low hydrolyzable chloride content, high degree of reactivity, outstanding chemical resistance to concentrated acids and aggressive solvents and compatibility with all standard curatives, most epoxy resin systems and solvents. Cures at room temperature.
