HyPox RA1340 Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A modified with CTBN elastomer CVC Epoxy Resins >> Bisphenol A based HyPox RA1340 is a high viscosity adduct of the diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A (DGEBA) and a butadieneacrylonitrile (CTBN) elastomer. The elastomer improves the toughness, and impact, thermal shock and peel resistance of the DGEBA resin. These improvements are attained with little loss of thermal resistance and modulus. HyPox RA1340 is compatible with all standard epoxy resins and curing agents. HyPox RA1340 is suggested for use as a toughener in fiber reinforced products, adhesives, molding compounds, potting and encapsulating compounds and chemical resistant coatings. It is used in molding compounds, adhesives, impact resistance coatings, thermocyclying modifier for epoxies, toughening of prepregs and composites. Adduct of the diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A (DGEBA) and a butadieneacrylonitrile (CTBN) elastomer. Used in molding compounds, impact resistance coatings, thermocyclying modifier for epoxies, toughening of prepregs and composites. Possesses high viscosity.
