HyPox RM20 Epoxidized neopentyl glycol modified with CTBN elastomer CVC Epoxy Resins HyPox RM20 is a diepoxide functional polymer of neopentyl glycol and a liquid butadiene-acrylonitrile(CTBN) rubber. Compared to standard epoxy resin/CTBN adducts, HyPox RM20 exhibits a relatively low viscosity coupled with a high rubber content. HyPox RM20 is intended for use in combination with standard epoxy resins when the end use application requires toughening and viscosity reduction. HyPox RM20 will increase flexibility and crack and fatigue resistance. It will improve peel resistance and adhesive properties. It is used in adhesives, impact resistant coatings, toughening of prepregs and composites, molding compounds, modifier to improve thermal cycle resistance.
