It is used in marble chip plasters, gloss paints, fibre cement coatings, window frame coatings, impregnating stains for wood, wood coatings, pigmented, wood stain varnishes, corrosion protection, latex paints, low emission and metal coatings. Mowilith LDM 7411 is especially suitable for the production of dispersion-based gloss paints and wood stains with good anti-blocking properties. Paint films show a good resistance to ageing and are notable for their good wet adhesion on old oil and alkyd resin paints under the influence of water and/or simultaneous mechanical stress. On substrates with high porosities or if applied in high film thickness any pigmented systems should be checked before use to prevent possible mud crack formation.
