It is used in anti-corrosion paints, primers, interior and exterior water based paints. Mowilith LDM 7431 is developed to be used in anti-corrosion paints but could also be used in other solventfree water based paints and lacquers with high demand of low blocking, low liquid water uptake, good adhesion to many substrates and early water resistance. Mowilith LDM 7431 can be formulated with pigments and fillers to primers, one-coat paints and top-coats. Small amounts of solvents, ex. Butyl glycol, can improve the adhesion and the film formation. When using preservatives in combination with Mowilith LDM 7431 we recommend avoiding formaldehyde releaser because discoloration may occur.
