IRGAGUARD B 1000 is very effectively inhibiting the growth of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The use of IRGAGUARD B 1510 is recommended in applications where temperatures of 250 - 270 °C not exceeded. It is suitable for Polypropylene injection molded and extruded articles. Key areas of applications are sanitary accessories (i.e. tooth brushes, toilet seats), appliances, garbage containers, hospital supplies and others. IRGAGUARD B 1510 contains one of the most effective antimicrobials. The pellet form combines a remarkably low dust content with excellent fluidity. These pellets are highly resistant to attrition; offer a narrow particle size distribution and improved industrial hygiene. Due to the low dosing rates and a good compatibility to other matrices no impact on mechanical properties has been found.
