IRGAGUARD F 3000 is a broad-spectrum fungicide that is highly effective against mold, rot, blight and stain. The thermal stability of IRGAGUARD F 3000 allows processing temperatures above 300°C. The use of IRGAGUARD F 3110 can be recommended in applications especially where humid conditions promote the growth of fungi. Suitable polymers are polyolefins, wood filled plastics, and ABS. Key areas of applications are building & construction (artificial wood, plastic lumber, wood filled plastics, decking, mobile homes, artificial turf, air conditioning), leisure boats, water tanks, crates, pallets, or garbage containers. IRGAGUARD F 3110 prevents growth of fungi on plastic surfaces, which often is accompanied by color formation, odor development and deterioration of physical properties. It is suitable to improve hygienic properties of many finished goods. The pellet form combines a remarkably low dust content with excellent fluidity. These pellets are highly resistant to attrition; offer a narrow particle size distribution and improved industrial hygiene. Due to the low dosing rates and a good compatibility to other matrixes impact on mechanical properties is expected to be minimal.
