Nipacide DFF is a glycol based solution. Nipacide DFF is one of a comprehensive range of biocides manufactured by Clariant UK Ltd. and is described chemically as a a blend of octyl isothiazolinone and methyl benzimidazol-2- yl carbamate. Nipacide DFF is effective against bacteria, fungi and yeast. Nipacide DFF is recommended for a wide range of applications including adhesives, polymer emulsions, fountain solutions, MWF and paint where protection against fungi and bacteria is required in the wet state. The recommended use level of Nipacide DFF to preserve most product types is normally in the range 0.5-2.0% based on the total weight of the finished product.
