Nipacide WDX 2 is a water based liquid. Nipacide WDX 2 is one of a comprehensive range of biocides manufactured by Clariant UK Ltd. and is described chemically as a a blend of octyl isothiazolinone, chlorinated and non-chlorinated isothiazolinones. Nipacide WDX 2 is effective against bacteria, fungi and yeast. Nipacide WDX 2 is recommended for a wide range of applications including adhesives and paint where protection against fungi and bacteria is required in the dry and wet state. The recommended use level of Nipacide WDX 2 to preserve most product types is normally in the range 0.3-2.0% based on the total weight of the finished product.
