Silicone emulsion non-ionic DEHYDRAN 150 is a highly effective defoamer for resin emulsion e.g. epoxy resins (see also DISPONIL 23), emulsion paints and other preparations that contain surfactants. DEHYDRAN 150 is suitable for silicate based paints. DEHYDRAN 150 is preferably used when high shearing stability and long term efficiency is required especially in alkaline media. Dosage is 0.05 to 0.3%, calculated on total formulation. Incorporation during grinding of pigments is recommended. For post addition dilute in water. Mixing ratio up to 1 : 5. Non-ionic silicone emulsion. Used as a highly effective defoamer for resin emulsion such as epoxy resins, emulsion paints and silicate based paints.
