The product is extremely easy to incorporate in gloss and flat systems and can in most cases be post-added as well without the need of making pre-dilutions. This thickener exhibits significantly higher ICI viscosity values when compared to other conventional associative urethane thickeners. Optimum viscosity control is obtained if NUVIS FX 1025 is divided and added at both stages. Typically, NUVIS FX 1025 is effective at 0.2%–3.0% of the total formulation weight. The optimum concentration to be used depends on the individual systems and requirements.
