CYMEL MB-11-B resin is a very effective crosslinking agent for backbone polymers containing hydroxyl, amide and, to some extent, carboxyl functional groups such as alkyd/polyester or acrylic resins. CYMEL MB-11-B resin can be used in a wide range of industrial stoving finishes providing excellent film hard-ness, outdoor durability, good flow and appearance and is used in automotive finishes, metal decorating and dip-ping enamels. In water borne systems CYMEL MB-11-B resin is insoluble in water and, because of its polymeric and hydrophobic nature, is not recommended in water borne systems.
