It possesses fast cohesive strength and water resistance development, tough, flexible glossy and very resistant to water, good substrate wetting and adhesion, removable with alkaline removers after outdoor exposure. It is used in flexo and gravure inks on films, foil and paper, pigment grinding vehicle for inks and paints, temporary coatings (road marking, automobiles) and mpregnating systems (e.g. plaster).
