Cellosize ER-30M Hydroxyethyl cellulose Dow Chemical Rheology Modifier/ Thickener >> Cellulosic, non associative >> Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) Coatings >> Waterborne Architectural / Decorative General Industrial /Maintenance Soluble in hot or cold water CELLOSIZEā„¢ ER 30M hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a medium-high molecular weight, enzymeresistant cellulosic polymer. It is used extensively to thicken latex paints when formulators want a balance between good thickening efficiency and good flow and leveling behavior in quality latex paints where an enzyme resistant cellulosic thickener is needed. The typical use levels of CELLOSIZE ER 30M HEC in latex paints are between 5 and 7 pounds per 100 gallons. Like all CELLOSIZE ER HEC products, CELLOSIZE ER 30M HEC contains about 1% fumed silica as a flow-aid. CELLOSIZE ER 30M HEC is rheologically similar to CELLOSIZE QP 30000H HEC. paints and coatings Medium-high molecular weight, enzyme-resistant cellulosic polymer. Used to thicken latex paints. Provides good thickening efficiency, good flow and leveling behaviour. Contains fumed silica as a flow-aid. Use level: 5-7 pounds per 100 gallons.
