Dow Corning 41 Solution of homopolymer of an aminofunctional silane, Dow Corning Adhesion promoter / Bonding agent >> Organofunctional silane Acrylic/Acrylate Resins Epoxy Resins Phenolic Resins Polyurethane Coatings >> Waterborne Water Dow Corning® 41 Additive Adhesion promoter APPLICATIONS Aqueous solution of a homopolymer of an aminofunctional silane, to be used as an additive or primer in water based systems to improve bonding between organic binder and inorganic substrate. It works well with phenols and epoxies but may also work with polyurethanes and acrylics. FEATURES Aminofunctional silane homopolymer adhesion promoter Additive Primer Extremely stable aqueous solution due to the chemistry of aminofunctional silanes Low methanol content (<1%) HOW TO USE As a primer dilute to 10% solids in water or IPA and apply by dipping or brushing. Dow Corning 41 Additive should be added during the final thinning stage at concentration of 0.5 - 3.0wt%. If fillers, silicas or pigments are present higher levels may be needed as the silane may preferentially absorb onto these surfaces.
