Nucrel 2806 Ethylene acid copolymer resin DuPont Ethylene co-terpolymers - solid (EVA, EMA) >> Ethylene Acrylic / Methacrylic Acid, E/AA / E/MAA Metal Pigment concentrates Other industry >> Glass Coating Other industry >> Paper coatings Nucrel® 2806 is a tough, lightweight, easily processed ethylene acid copolymer resin. This resin is inherently flexible without the need for plasticizers. The resin can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects. Good adhesion to metals, glass, cellulosic and other polar substrates May be processed into aqueous amines and alkali based dispersions Heat sealable coating Base resin for color concentrates Metal coating Dispersions Paper coating Nonwoven binding DuPont makes Nucrel® in a variety of grades, optimized for processing productivity and end-use performance in applications such as footwear, glass and metal coatings, injection molded parts, carriers for color concentrates, wire and cable insulation, and adhesive films and compounds. The resins offer strong adhesion to foil, paper, metals and glass, and excellent resistance to grease and oils. Flexibility, eliminating the need for plasticizers. No migration problems, no embrittlement Excellent durability and weatherability Excellent low temperature impact Low resin specific gravity Direct adhesion to treated glass eliminates the need for an adhesive Lightweight Can be painted and pigmented Foamable Tough, lightweight, easily processed and flexible ethylene acid copolymer resin. Used in heat sealable coating, as a base resin for color concentrates and in metal, paper and glass coating. Does need for plasticizers. Can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects. Offers good adhesion to metals, glass, cellulosic and other polar substrates. Can be processed into aqueous amines and alkali based dispersions. Gives resistance to grease and oils, no migration problems, no embrittlement, very good durability, weatherability and low temperature impact, and low specific gravity.
