It reduces the surface tension in solvent based coating systems. Addition of Dynoadd F-101 contributes to improved flow and leveling. Surface defects like craters, cissing and pinholes are eliminated. Dynoadd F-101 is more polar than Dynoadd F-1 and gives improved performance in some systems. Greater polarity contributes to good pigment wetting and improved adhesion in some systems. Dynoadd F-101 is completely soluble in solvents like aromatic hydrocarbons, glycol ethers, esters and alcohols. It is not soluble in water. It possesses excellent flow / leveling, improves substrate wetting, improved compatibility in polar systems, eliminates craters and pinholes. It is used in coil coatings, automotive(OEM) primers, base coat, clear coat, printing inks, silk screen, inkjet, UV cured systems, overprint varnishes, wood coatings.
