It is used to promote flow and retard blushing in formulations such as lacquers, lacquer emulsions, screen inks, baking enamels and air-dry enamels. It is useful as a flow control agent in baking enamels. This is one of many Eastman solvents that can be used to replace the ExxonMobil’s discontinued Exxate solvents. It is used for coalescing aid for nitrocellulose (NC) lacquer emulsions, Coatings - OEM and Special Purpose,EXXATE 600 replacement blends,EXXATE 700 and 800 replacement. 2-Ethylhexyl Acetate. Used for lacquers, lacquer emulsions, screen inks and baking enamels. Promotes flow and retard blushing properties.
