EFKA 1120 Acrylic modified alkyd resin Efka Additives Dispersing agents >> Polymerics Cellulosic Resins Coatings >> Solventborne Pigment concentrates alkylbenzene/butylacetate Dispersing resin for pigment concentrates Acrylic modified alkyd resin in alkylbenzene/butylacetate Natural fatty acids EFKA-1120 is a dispersing resin especially developed for the production of resin minimal pigment concentrates. EFKA-1120 shows good pigment wetting and stabilising performance and excellent compatibility with commonly used resins in the coatings industry. Due to its primary hydroxyl groups, EFKA-1120 is able to crosslink with amino and polyisocyanate resins. EFKA-1120 should be used in combination with EFKA dispersants as the grinding vehicle to formulate solvent-based pigment concentrates. Depending on the application, the most suitable combinations are: EFKA-1120 and EFKA-4009 for pigment concentrates where cost effective performance is important and low shear force incorporation into the let-down is required EFKA-1120 and EFKA-4530 for pigment concentrates which have the added benefit of excellent compatibility with nitrocellulose based coatings Acrylic modified alkyd resin in alkylbenzene/butylacetate. Contains natural fatty acids. Used as a dispersing resin for production of resin minimal pigment concentrates. Provides good pigment wetting and stabilising performance and very good compatibility with resins used in coatings industry. Can be crosslinked with amino and polyisocyanate resins. Can be used in combination with other dispersants as grinding vehicle to formulate solvent-based pigment concentrates.
